How did Nazi Germany de-radicalize so quickly

I know it’s just crazy to me though. In the United States people in the South STILL hold a grudge on the North and still largely hate blacks. The civil war ended 160+ years ago while WWII was less than a century ago yet no remnants or grudge in Germany remains like it still does in the formerly confederate south.

not all of them were killed, but a shockingly large amount were. people don't understand the toll world wars 1 and 2 took on europe. deaths weren't just in the wars, it was afterwards too. too many good men were killed, while their women waited home to eventually get raped.

of course, that's european history in general, going back thousands of years. scale just got a bit bigger.

Living in ruins and being hungry changes a lot.

War weariness, something you no longer see in modern conflict. This is what helps a defeated country bounce back to normal. The people are grateful for an end to the violence and starvation and are open to new peaceful way of living, even if it's under foreign influence.

Japan was making toys and radios for America within a decade after ww2 ended. West Germany and east Germany followed different paths, but there were no insurrections or freedom fighters in the 1950s trying to change the country back or resist foreign influence. They once again had jobs and food, that is all that matters.

The Civil War ended a lot differently than World War II. The South is still stuffed full of black people because they were never sent back to Africa. Black people are still being a bunch of violent stupid children who blame whitey and everyone/everything else but themselves for their failures. And they get a shit ton of government money per child they breed plus other Gibs programs.
