In Australia you can still be on a jury, be a politician and even vote while in prison if your sentence is under 3 years

I can't serve on a jury or ever run for public office again. It's more difficult to get a travel visa to certain countries.
The Declaration of Independence asserts that our rights are unalienable. That means they can't be taken away or sold. It would be difficult to imagine a champion for felons emerging in the legal world, but felons are entitled to all rights they enjoyed before their convictions after the completion of their sentences.

The "becoming" happened in the past when California was red. Dems inherited it. Now it's going to shit. Just like the south is shit today because it was controlled by dems in the past, now it's red, it's home to most of the fastest growing state economies.

The people in power today control the "velocity" today. The "position" today is determined by the "velocities" in the past, up to the present. The south was controlled by dems up until the 90s. This is what determines it's "position". The south is controlled by republicans today. This is what determines its growth or recession today, and will partially determing its "position" in the future.

Most often they won't come right out and ask it, because most Americans have no idea what jury nullification is. The instructions to a jury inform them that they are the arbiters if fact only. In reality jurors are the ultimate arbiters of fact and the law.

Jury nullufication being common knowledge frightens the state. They won't be able to keep their prison police state going if people learn they can nullify laws in the jury box.
