How do you explain that most people here have the 3-4 same personalities trait?Personalities that have low % representation in the total population.
Do you think there is only libra, taurus and pisces that browse here too?

I still think it holds some truth. I've taken the test 9, maybe 10 times along with a plethora of other tests and I get the same results every time. The description of the personality test also matches my personality too.

I'd say there's something to it, but it all depends on how honest you are when it comes to the test as I can see a bunch of people lying to themselves.

Ofcourse a test with 200 vague questions won't tell you exactly who you are, but it'll give you a little insight at the very least.

It means nothing. It's a moderately accurate description of you positive qualities. It doesn't test how much of a lazy cunt you are, for example, or any other negative traits. Not objectively at least. It just hints that your type might have this or that wrong with it. Everyone wins.

I've researched MBTI a lot actually, and that's exactly why I can claim what I do. The test doesn't actually guage YOU personally, it just tells you that you fall within a certain stereotype. The stereotype you fall is associated with certain negative qualities, but it never actually tests you if YOU have those qualities too. Functionally, it's useless. It's for gays. Big five blows it out of the water. If you have to know, I am indeed INTP.

You don't really need a new test, just a good sample of whites and a good sample of blacks, make them take the MBTI test and then quantifies the results for each groups and finally compare them.
I don't have a specific website to recommend to you but it's quite available if you look a bit on search engines.

Peterson advocates for it but that's because ALL psychologists advocate for it. BF tests everything that's concrete and relevant, and specific to YOU. It calculates how YOU as a person tick. It doesn't congratulate you for having idiosyncracies that can be categorised as belonging to this or that ineffable vague blob. All MBTI tells you is that there are other people who are like you and you act the same, sort of, most of the time but not really always.

I said stereotype for a reason, because that's all it tests for. Being classified as an INTP doesn't in any way indicate how well you perform at a job, for example. Hiring people with a high percentile in conscientiousness nets you a company full of hard working people. The same can't be said of people who only hire based on MBTI type.

I know.. i am probs youmger then you. And you have more exp. in life. But take my advice and leave the mask beside. I had a mental breakdown just few weeks before caused by extreme use of masks. Not if the polls are not asking for insufficient data, and not if the results are interpreted in the most backwards way possible. First of all they have a thinking/feeling dichotomy, which so retarded I don't think I can begin to explain why without writing a novel. Second of all, they don't test for neurotiscism(how well you handle stress and your ability to stay calm). Like, at all- even though that's the biggest indicator of how you act and how you navigate life. For that reason alone MBTI can be tossed into the trash.
As another example, the judging-perceiving scale captures whether I’m an organizer and a planner, but overlooks the industriousness and achievement drive that tend to accompany these characteristics—together, they form a personality trait called conscientiousness

Is it possible to go between INTJ and INTP? When I'm focused and taking things in life seriously (too seriously for comfort honestly), I score as INTJ, but when I'm relaxed and carefree, I always score as INTP.

Because it doesn't. Saying I'm an INTP basically says nothing. Saying my percentiles are 100 for openes, 60 for conscientiousness, 40 for extroversion, 20 for agreeableness, and 70 for neurotiscism, you basically have everything you need to know about me (there are subcategories, but these are the main identifiers.)
Now- if I score low in all of those fields (ie if I was a retard), then that would give you an accurate assesment of me as a simple and useless person. Labeling me as INTP or any other MBTI type says basically nothing in comparison.

This guy, for example, is low in conscientiousness (procrastinates horribly) and high in neuroticism (extreme anxiety). MBTI has no comprehensible way of defining either of those concepts.

Some people who have looked into Jung's work, had fun and assigned types to historical figures.I know it's not really accurate but I like the idea.
