Do you think China’s military is weak? They’re vastly approaching the US military qualitatively. They’re leading in a lot of the cutting edge meme weapons like quantum computing to break our cryptology, hypersonic missiles, lasers, rail guns, anti ship ballistic missiles, etc. And they’re able to match us in tech that we historically dominated like stealth and raw naval power (they now have more ships than the US navy). They don’t have as many carriers but that will likely change in the next 10 years. They also have a huge population, lots of natural resources, big manufacturing base unlike the US, and will be the world’s largest economy very soon. They also have a homogenous population where NOT being a nationalist is considered taboo.
