Exactly what I was thinking. I love going for a drive in the early hours on the weekend when there's nobody else around, I went out at 5am this morning and ragged my car around the countryside; it was awesome. I used to fill that void by playing vidya but ever since I had a kid I don't get any extended time to do anything like that at home anymore.

I'm thinking of buying an e46 330ci to convert into a street legal race car by next summer. I't'll mostly be for taking out on trackdays but I'll definitely be belting it up and down empty country roads too.

To be honest I wouldn't want to live in OP's pic either. Don't get me wrong, though, it's not like I'd prefer to live in some city. I grew up in a small town (like 3000ish people) and I like having bigger yards with trees and gardens and whatnot. I like my privacy while at the same time not being two KM from the closest person. OP's pic just makes me feel claustrophobic. Again, though, and I can't stress enough: would still take that over some shitdick city. When I had to live in one for college (and one of the less cancerous ones as far as Ontario goes) I hated it and I lived in one of the better parts of it.

They can foreclosure on people's houses. HOAs are scum and not needed. They used to be actually associations of actual people who lived I. That neighborhood but now they are implemented by the developer of the subdivision and they generally run them in order to gain another revenue stream after they have sold all the houses/plots. I live in the largest suburban city in the USA Mesa, As and it's about 50/50 on whether people live under and HOA just about. Thankfully I don't.

Malls are built in isolated places for the same reason colleges are: The price of the land. The farther away from good neighborhoods, the cheaper it is to buy quilometers square of land to make a big building.

What we do to avoid niggers living in some places, is raise the price of houses in the said neighborhood. The price range goes from 40k dollars to 300k in the same city depending only on the localization alone.
