Rockwell was awesome. But GLR's choice of tactics don't apply to anything but USA and the UK. "White" is chiefly an American concept. Germans see themselves as Germans first, Europeans second, and then perhaps as "white". Same with Italians, Nordics, Dutch, etc.
Americans on the other hand see themselves as "white" first and only. This influenced Rockwell into creating his own form of Fascism, which he outlines in White Power and This Time The World. It is not Germanic National Socialism, but his teachings applied to work in American conditions. They don't work for Germanics, they don't work for Europeans. The concept of "white" could have worked for America back in Rockwell's days, but it did not.
It really isn't enough to have white skin. You need a stronger identity than that. Many Europeans have that. Most Americans don't, and what's worse is they believe the same applies to all the Europeans so they try to push their "white" identity on everyone - but it really is detrimental to ethnic in-group feeling to see yourself as "white" first and then German/Italian/French/Danish/Greek second.
Lastly, there's the biological reasons. Most Europeans aren't actually white skinned. That practically only applies to some brits and ashkenazi jews. Most the Germanic and Nordic countries are golden-tanned during the summer - not shitskinned, but distinctly golden. So why identify yourself as something you are not? The concept of being "white" really is as alien to a bronzed Swede, whether you burgers agree to it or not.
