I am sorry I'm sure you made a good post but I saw what seemed like spoilers from manga so I stopped halfway through. I'm trying to still remain able to enjoy this show for now as its the only one I watch, I was just disappointed after these last two episodes.

It seems like some of you think this is a clever role reversal, but its odd to me considering the optics around the eldians is very jewish, and also they seem to be a minority where as the others are the vast majority.

I suppose in modern society whites are a minority, especially globally, I just find it hard to believe that such a popular piece sees that or makes those connections as I have heard from others that the creator is an atypical modernist. I dont know that personally though.

I do like how anime has light hearted elements that remind me of childhood but I like it mostly serious, to me attack on titan has that, I think thats why I enjoyed it so much compared to most other shows and movies I have seen.

Also until now it had been devoid of the poison that infects western entertainment and to me it was so refreshing. Even in literary fiction its hard to escape such things anymore it seems.
