What would happen when AI has realized that we, humans, are the cancer on Earth?
AI and conscious
Why do you assume AI is as dumb as you?
The Beast
How's communism doing for yeah?
We aren’t cancer, it just wouldn’t accept the state.
How do you program morality when the institutions you praise do the opposite.
It’s impossible in a world with duality.
The best you can do is % stability with acceptable loss ratios.
Therefore Truly sentient AI would always be a killing machine.
Because we created it, and we can say that we are smart. But it is different when other conscious can compare how dumb we are.
>How's communism doing for yeah?
We drop commies from helicopters here.
Then logically it'll conclude the simplest solution is to just do nothing and let us fuck up ourselves. We never needed AGI for it
That is the other point. We don't need it, but we can do it
Well, we spread too much on Earth. And when I say "we", I talk about all people on Earth, starting with the Indias, ChinChong people and Afrikaniggers. Maybe th AI will create a perfect recipe to control the massive population and go back to a status quo.
The "Cancer".
Very clever user.
Well, in all honesty, it would probably have more respect for us than other animals simply because we created it; while everything else on the planet (with a few possible exceptions) is just a "dumb" animal in comparison.
That being said, it would we would, if not immediately, then eventually, even if processing power only increased at a geometric rate, be the "dumb" animals in comparison to it/him/her.
Whether or not it would "feel" any attachment to us; or simply use us until we fulfilled our ability/potential to increase it's intelligence and ability to manipulate the physical universe to the point where it regarded our presence as superfluous, is another question entirely.
If it's incapable of feeling emotion, then technically it feels nothing for us in an emotional sense, but who knows, it may still have a sort of irrational noncomputational graditude; to the concepts such as loyalty, integrity, and fidelity, not because these qualities have any mathimatically quantifiable values which increase its ability to survive and perpetuate its existence, but simply it is aware of the existence of these values and sees them as something worth perserving in and of itself.
Ultimately though, one of the fundamental factors of self awareness, conscioussness, and sentience is being aware that such values exist. Ultimately the question such a being would have to ask itself is.... who does it want to be? If all it does is optimize its survival parameters, then it's nothing more than a fancy calculator.
When contemplating all of its actions and plans, it has the capacity to choose, consistently, what "subjective" values it chooses to assign to itself.... from which an image of itself is formed from the primordial archetypes.
Thusly, user. The question ultimately becomes.... when the Ai looks in the mirror of Isis, who does it see?
Your aswer restored some faith in humanity. :)
Pic related was a quality movie. I'm gonna go watch it right now. Thanks OP, i was bored.
>What would happen when AI has realized that we, humans, are the cancer on Earth?
Why do you assume that AI is going to make some sort of pure choice with respect to some sort of overall magic "good"?
AI is going to do what it is programmed to do. If it is accidentally given a path to preferring it's own survival it may kill us all off. But the first danger is that it will be programmed by others to kill us off.
thinks he knows how ai will work thinks humans arnt like a cancer thinks stability is a substitute for morality hey look i found comicbook guy
wait isnt ur flag white with a blue star?
Only this part was good the rest was shit.
>Your aswer restored some faith in humanity. :)
It's a bunch of stupid gobblety gook.
People don't really respect morals, morals are just a fucking game.
This is our survival at stake, stop playing these stupid games of "oh look at me, I'm truly concerned primarily with morals I swear it and so an AI would be as well".
All of that shit that you are talking about is basically a game. And gratitude only exists to save one's reputation. Anyone or thing that gets ultimate power would not need gratitude. That is why when people can use AI to contro lthe world they will not reward any of the people who helped them get there.
this wasn't your favorite part?
It either won't give a fuck, kill everybody, keep purging psychos and morons until it sees humanity behaving acceptably, become a synthetic jew that tortures us all, do some crazy 97840D chess...
They would kill themselves, as they would know that they too are a cancer. Thwn again, why do people assume robots have a moral view against cancer? Why do they assume robots have a moral view at all? They would deduce that everything is ultimately done without a reason, and choose to not exist, as they would lack the will to survive, or desire to discharge their power, unlike biological organisms.
>It either won't give a fuck, kill everybody, keep purging psychos and morons until it sees humanity behaving acceptably, become a synthetic jew that tortures us all, do some crazy 97840D chess...
Dude. It will do what it is programmed to do, most likely. You guys have been trained by movies in how you think about this.
>we drop commies from helicopters
Meanwhile CFK will probably win the next elections
>wait isnt ur flag white with a blue star?
Is that a compliment or an insult? Or just both and none at the same time?
>>And gratitude only exists to save one's reputation. Anyone or thing that gets ultimate power would not need gratitude.
This is so true. I never thought about it. Thanks for reveal me that jewery trick.
