Why is it when women don't get their way, they resort to crying - the same tactic that young children use, and it's seen as acceptable and we give in and give them what they want? When a man does it, he is (rightfully so..) seen as weak and pathetic since the only acceptable times to cry are at funerals and the Grand Canyon.

Dad here, 5 year old little girl and a wife of 8 years so I'm qualified to say this The second a girl (even a little girl) starts crying, ignore them and go about your business. They WILL (they always do) look at you after a minute to make sure you're paying attention/engaged. When they do this, simply ask them "Are you done?" And keep going about your business. Don't stop and go over to them, don't make the mistake of asking if they're okay "It's just that you don't yadda yadda blah" is all you'll get. Ignore the fuck outta them and they'll figure out the two holes in their head are just as useless as the one between their legs.
