Nobody watches TV comedy anymore. They can't drop any further.
The only reason why people watch terrestrial TV now is for quiz shows and repeats of old shows. It's a friend for lonely, retired boomers. As long as ITV keeps making Tenable and the Chase, then they're fine.

ITV has always been at the front of this stuff, recently I watched Paradise Postponed (1986) and was surprised it ticked all the boxes.

I remember watching British TV while waiting for my computer to arrive when I lived in the UK.

ITV was by far the worst channel, it was actually insulting to watch, I felt revolted like I was watching raw corruption firing out from the screen. The most braindead shit imaginable. I ended up fucking about forever on my phone.
