Give me a rundown on luther and Lutheranism. I know about his hatred for jews but what else.

Attached: Cecil Rhodes Memorial, Bulawayo.jpg (2012x2628, 1.56M)

fat libidinous catholic monk who set off series of things he couldn't control..

apparently the Pope had an elephant at the time and that fat pig Luther didn't like it. Can't a man have a pet?

She is the Daenerys of the 21st century

Fat fuck was actually a pious catholic that only wanted things to go back to the old ways, before the whole "depraved papacies" and "cash4Heaven" controversies.
Problem is Jews probably hijacked his recommandations and turned it into a full schism.
Also he loved Jews at first thinking the Catholic Church was too soft on integrating them but after several years he retracted those thoughts and wanted them to burn at the stakes.
Overall he was just a normal dude, it could have been any other fat priest around doing that.

Hanno the elepahnt pic related

Yes, sadly Luther gave opportunities galore to the eternal jew, so we lost everything.

Nothing was ever the same again. Backwards forwards. And the devil was defeated (got the jews as a consolation prize)

Dude wanted the Clergy to stop being a bunch of assholes, but he did it the wrong way. He had a poor understanding of Theology and ended up making false theological accusations mixed up with valid disciplinary points and the result is that his church became a bitch to the State - which it is until today. HIs hatred for the papacy just got him to be obedient to secular authorities who would no longer be subject the checking power of the Church. Rejected the Tradition and said the Bible alone was the way to go (forgetting that the Bible is part of the tradition) and opened the gates of insane people using it to justify whatever future Schism they needed to get themselves more power.

And also accidentaly started the age of revolutions by paving the way for Socialism in Europe. There would be no Marx/HItler without Luther.

You're only going to get a lot of Catholics sperging out when you bring him up. Largely just because he was the first one to call out their bullshit and get away with it. Before him they were successful at burning alive anyone who dared say they were corrupting shit.

Lutheranism is pretty based. Here in the USA we have pic related and it is great.

I used to be a Calvinist, so I speak from a perspective of someone who left Luther and Calvin behind after 30 years of following them.

What a coincidence. I used to be Orthodox.

You'll go Catholic eventually. Just keep studying.

Attached: 1557466779464.jpg (522x798, 139K)

lmao no, I disagree with a ton of what the Orthodox say, but their criticisms of you people are right on the money.
Besides, you don't even have to be a Christian to see how the Catholic church is a pseudo-Demonic organization nowadays. Even atheists and agnostics can plainly see what is happening there.

I like a lot of catholic ideas on paper but Vatican II was an absolute disaster and the scandalous history of corruption I can't come to terms with.

>Vatican II was an absolute disaster and the scandalous history of corruption I can't come to terms with.
Yep, you're right. But this is not going to last, mate. The Church has been through much, much worse stuff throughout history and it always came back with a vengeance. It will happen again. The Mason/Socialist centenary attack on the Church will eventually fail, the Church will get out of it stronger than ever and then all we will have to do is wait for Satan's next attempt to destroy the Church, so it can fight back, win and get even stronger again - rinse and repeat all the way to Christ's return.

>yeah we're fucking demonic now but itll get better I promisseeeeeeeee

it wont

Wait and see. Luther, Calvin and Henry VIII worked their asses off to destroy the Church, waged war against it on the whole continent, and the result was that after 100 years most of the New World was Catholic. There will always be bad priests and evil lay people, the Church will always beat them in time.

no, we are being nice about him. But the thing (reformation) itself was a disaster, and taken over immediately by the worst of the worst. It was a revolutionary movement. Luther's was a CONSERVATIVE reaction to Rome. He lsot control totally in other words.

Luther more or less nationalized the church and brought the idea of Jesus back to a sort of aryan patriarchal figure. He basically trashed all the catholics via print, which was basically at that time like wrecking them via youtube debates or televised debates. Recognized the problem with the Jews and had a plan to sort it out.

Was a cantankerous old man though and pretty egotistical. He threw a bunch of friends under the bus for petty theological disagreements. Actively worked against/shit talked peasant populist revolts attempting to change things in various localities.

Overall a very contentious figure but the straw that broke the camel's back on the catholic internationalists vs christian nationalists debate. Not an especially remarkable person in terms of his overall nature, but because he became the mascot for a cause.

>Luther, Calvin and Henry VIII worked their asses off to destroy the Church

Yes, here we fucking go with you power hungry papists. You look at reformers, and say, fuck, they are trying to destroy the church, and burn them alive if you can (Jan Hus & Co).
It doesn't matter with you people that they may be correct theologically, what matters is they are countersignalling you. And for that they must be burnt.
Fuck you. Everyone can tell when you are not concerned about truth.
They didn't "work their asses off to destroy the church", only a deeply insecure organization can sit there and say that any criticism that comes from within is meant to destroy it.

tl;dr the Reformation was your fault. The church invented heresy after heresy. People tried for literal fucking centuries to reform it from the inside, but for their efforts, were burnt alive.

You brought this upon yourselves.

yeah but they are right. Nietzsche drove himself mad. There wasn't a way out.

lutheran here (lcms - as stated likely the only faithful protestant group left). luther is basically responsible for all of the modern age. read the first chapter of "dawn to decadence" - probably free first chapter online somewhere. First to get away with standing up to the church and started the whole "majority of one" and "you can be right even if the whole of society is against you"

so all this is luther's fault though to be fair someone else would have eventually done it so. humanism likely unstoppable.

so Catholic bros - I could be Catholic but all this Pope Francis craziness is stopping me. Seems to be a lot of Catholic stuff post vatican ii that is non-biblical. I do accept non-biblical church authority but some of this seems to go too far. what do?

>Liberals are on the right side of history

Same faggot, same argument, different era

>It doesn't matter with you people that they may be correct theologically
That is all that matters. They were wrong. Luther's view on communion is wrong, to cite one. Calvin's Ecclesiology is wrong, to cite one. Henry VIII had nothing to do with theology but with wanting to fuck a (o six) nice looking and fertile lady(ies), so I won't comment.

it means the more you know history the more you become catholic. You aint understood it right

>what do?
Rad Trad are in full communion, even though critical of the Pope. You don't have to love the Pope to be a Catholic, and you can even criticise/disobey him when you have good grounds based on the Bible and Tradition. The Pope can be an evil man, and not even that would void the Church's authority.

>pious catholic
>Luther
>Pious
Do any anglos know anything about history?

No I understood it perfectly, faggot. It's a complete fallacy. But it sounds and looks pretty so just like you catholics, you'll wrap gold around it, call it holy, and demand obedience to it.

Proabbly more important to the reformation is that other fat bastard Henry VIII- or his right hand man Cromwell. Or if Mary had simply lived a ful life. If england had not opted for protestantism- the whole thing would have probably disappeared.

Attached: 1547514541028.jpg (2141x3079, 629K)

no, you didn't understand it (look above). You people are like muslims- trying to 'tough it out', rather than understand.

And the Americas would be 100% Catholic, can you imagine the effect of that on the Muslim world?

>rather than understand.
Its central to their theology, see on the Bondage of the Will. They are like animals, just like the muslims. No thinking.

NOTHING COMPARES

If Napoleon was alive today he would have taken Morocco to Iran by now.

That's a good pic

>Vatican II was an absolute disaster
Its always people that have never read any of the VII papers that say this. Stop reading blogs and read it yourself fag
