I was bullied in my freshman year of high school, the bully's "punishment" was to have his classes shifted to fit my schedule, because "all you need to do is spend more time with him!" I was in the same situation in middle school. The teachers did nothing about it so my parents went straight to the principal (who knew who I was and liked me) and told him that if the bully doesn't stop messing with me my parents give me to go to beat the shit out of him. I was pretty athletic and worked out then too, I was just a super quiet autistic sperg at 13 so I was an easy target.

My principle told the bullys parents and I told the bully what I would do. He didn't believe me and messed with me the next day and I beat the absolute shit out of him. The other kids didn't even pull me off. His parents were furious but the school and my parents told them they were warned. Got off Scot free. He may lose the fight but bullys don't pick on kids who always fight back because they will have to lose something every time. Yeah, when I was in school I got bullied pretty hard. I started fighting back around fifth grade. In grade seven I worked a kid over pretty hard and got into a series of fights regularly enough that they ended up siding with those kids and ended up shipping me to a school elsewhere and placing me in a bullying program.

That is, I was labeled a bully for beating the shit out of bullies. Getting sent to that program was awesome though. The teachers running it realized pretty quickly what was going on and I was sent back into the general population by grade nine.

Teachers will side with the bullies if you fight back. But it's irrelevant. If you have good character, you'll come out of it stronger in the end. I turned out alright despite it all. It's worth it to fight back.
