It's hard to say how far we've gone because it depends where you draw the line between public and private (online) life.
If we include what goes on online, from the amount and types of porn the average person watches to extreme disgusting fringe fetishes like furry shit. Or irl behind closed doors, scat clubs and the like. What a significant proportion of people do in private has far surpassed any degeneracy in the history of the world.
But if we only count what goes on in public, porny stuff in cinemas, general accepted behaviour like getting drunk and having casual gay sex with hundreds of people, sure it's very degenerate but it's not outright, explicitly satanic yet.
It's hard to tell what's 'publically' accepted, since everyone does their most degenerate stuff online but can seem innocent in person. It may never be publically obvious how far society has fallen. Like if everyone jacked off to snuff CP but pretended to have values in the light of day. The society as a whole would appear to be more normal than it was.
