My mom woke me up, I was in 6th grade. Had to come downstairs, watched the second tower fall. Dad was golfing, were a rich white Southern California family. Was confusing but I knew it was bad.
Got ready for school, I lived near it so I usually walked. Saw some classmates at the quad tables and we talked about it like 6th graders would.

I just came back home from kindergarden and was watching Dexter's Laboratory on Cartoon Network when suddently the channel changed to CNN. I tried to change it back to Cartoon Network but every channel was CNN, showing the first tower in flames. I then called my mom to help me fix the TV and when she arrived we witnessed together the second plane hitting the tower live. I was sent to my room and from there on I used to build towers with Legos and smash them with toy airplanes

My family lived in Queens back then. I was in kindergarten and my mom picked me up. We went to toys r us and I could see all the smoke from the parking garage. It's one of the first things I can really clearly remember.

This. Inside job stickers and fliers were up within a week. Firetrucks had them posted to them. It wasn't even disputed, and caused no arguments, to say inside job. False flag replaced the term a few incidents later.

Home, then school. I was a freshman in high school at the time. We spent most of the day just talking about it.

Big deal. Everybody was at work. Then everybody STOPPED working. No one got called out, anywhere. People in some fields who had a day off actually rushed TO work. It was more than patriotic, it was more like the family had just experienced a tragedy and everyone put aside their petty rivalries to get the family together and make sure everyone was safe.

I spent the rest of the morning watching it since they didn't show my cartoons. And I was watching when the second plane hit. And I was having lunch when the first tower fell.

I was in high school as a freshman in first period. Didn't have to do school work for a week. Everyone was scared we were getting drafted and was afraid of war. Some of the girls' nerves were so bad they couldn't eat. I got extra fries for days, and dipped them in my bowl of nacho cheese that cost a quarter. Strange times. Good eatin though.

I was in Year 7 in UK, which is first year out of elementary school. I came home from school and turned on the news and saw the towers burning on the TV. NYC is 5 hours behind British Summer Time, so when I got home around 15:30 UK time it was just in time to see the North Tower collapse in front of my eyes.

I sat and watched it for hours and went on our 56k internet to find out more and saw pics of jumpers on early internet gore sites like Rotten.com.

I was in 5th grade in Science class in Brooklyn. I remember the teacher was making us lick the back of our hand and blowing on it to teach us about wind. The teacher stepped out of the class to talk to another teacher, us kids were inside when we all started looking out the window and noticed that the sky was filled with dark smoke. The teacher came back in after 10 minutes and calmly told us that there was a major accident in Manhattan with the Twin Towers. School ended early that day, and all of the kids were just looking at the sky walking back home.

I was 10. None of the students knew why we were being picked up. And teachers ordered my dad not to say anything.

Later on, we went to the river and saw the smoke from the Towers all over the air.

You know, when you like in NYC, you really do see a lot of shit on the daily. I've walked by so many dead bodies on my way to work, I stopped noticing. I got fired from my job in 2001 for being late the day after 9/11. The tanks and checkpoint on 14th street wasn't enough of an excuse.

I was 19,had the day off work so I was playing PlayStation with the radio on in the background.

Heard reports of a plane hitting the wtc, thought it was a shitty little cessna or similar. When they updated that it was an airliner, the PS got turned off and I spent the rest of the day watching the news live.

Was surreal.

Also, the pentagon strike was a missile launched from a nearby raised freeway.
