50% is pretty decent. Living in Denver rn which is about 10-30% on any given day but I’m from south Texas which is > 75% every single day of the week. 100F there feels like a fucking hot tub combined with an oven.

Buy a window AC unit, or a nice box fan. If you’ve got a lot of junk supplies like a bucket and a saw, you can JewTube a simple swamp cooler and make one yourself but I would only recommend that if you have the materials on hand, as you could probably pick up a window unit for like 50 bucks or less at a pawn shop or thrift store. You can also always go swimming or just take a cold shower.

Because people only ever think about insulating their property so they don't need the heater as much during winter.
What ends up happening is they invest in an AC unit and spend way more power on cooling their house because the insulation is really good at keeping the heat in but they don't have the sunscreens to keep the heat out.
I rent and my council estate renovated the place a few years ago, upgraded the insulation dramatically.
When the outside temp is 30°C, the inside temp will be 30°C. All. Night. Long.
God forbid when it's warmer than that.
Last year with all the windows open it took two weeks for the heat to dissipate down to outside temp.
