If one cannot visualize an image based on linguistic cues, then on what level is one actually "thinking?" One would have to be going off the notion, the feeling, of "red star" and what that meant personally to them. Even if they can look at a picture of a red star and say, "It is a red star," they don't carry that image around with them. They are behaving automatically; there is no possibility for self-reflection because they cannot visualize a reality apart from their own emotional inner world.

Stupid test. The visualization happens in a different space than you think of when you think of vision. Any of you trying to impose an image on your visual space is doing it wrong, you won't literally see a star, rather, you will construct the imagery in the place "behind your eyes", which is colloquial for the mind space. You will "see" it like you do a dream. To those saying don't close your eyes or do, don't listen to them. The black image in the visual space does not correlate to what you should see at all. No matter what is happening to your visual sight, you should be able to perceive the construction of the mind in the mind space.

Not necessarily true. I have an ISTJ gf that recently independently visualized the black sun symbol when thinking of God and the purging of those who turn their back on the truth. She didn't know it was the black sun until she described it to me and I recognized it for what it was. If you're a sensor, then in order to construct visualizations you have to individuate. For IS** this means aspiring towards the inferior function
For ES** this means developing the child function. Intuition is the process of interfacing with the mind space and all people have it, but some people never develop to the point of being able to consciously use their intuition due to it being at a lower place on their function stack.

Obviously staring at the star will leave an after image. You aren't supposed to "SEE" it or colors themselves. Your eyes have nothing to do with this. If you aren't an NPC you can visualize things inside your head. Imagine, for instance, exiting your home and going someplace you know or that is completely imaginary that you create on the fly. Eyes open. If you can't do that you need a code update.

The other user is trolling. There's no way to impose visual information onto your visual field unless you are able to actively control the hallucination of reality. The only place you can control the construction of perception is in the mind. If you have a weak intuition, then your mind space will either be nonexistent or low-resolution, like in the first 4 options. If you have a strong intuition, then 6 is nothing even close to the limit to what you can construct in your mind.
