Why are you still using Google?

And if you don't, which search engine do you use?

I liked ixquick when it was still around. DuckDuck seems good enough for general stuff, but Yandex seems to have a pleasantly complementary view of the world.

Been using DuckDuckGo for years with no problems.

I use bing.com and ddgo. Sometimes use google mostly when it's just technical issue and non-political, or searching for tutorial.

I use my gmail from 15 years ago cause its already in bank, paypal, ebay, but I use fake emails for 90% of things I do.

I use fake emails for my android phones, though it connects at home wifi so it's futile to try to obfuscate and maintain personal privacy.

you are still using it if you realize it or not. they own most of the current infrastructure

Well....yeah? Google has been absolutely required for the past 20 years. What? You want me to use Yahoo or godforbid Lycos?

Because it is ubiquitous user. This is why Congress must bust the trust teddy style

I use Google because it is the best.

this. move to DDG, you fucking niggers.

stop being retards and shape society with your will.

If you want an extra layer of protection, use Startpage, but Startpage's results are based on Google's search engine.

I already use a script blocker and ad blocker to block tracking and ads, and since I've started using a paid email service with my own domain, I've gradually been migrating my accounts to it but haven't completely gotten rid of gmail yet. I'm thinking of taking the plunge and fully de-Googling my phone as well.

i use northernlight, oh wait, this isn't 1999...

I use Bing because you get points for using it and u can redeem them for some shit. Idk if it's biased like Google tho.

I've been using duck duck go and start page mostly for the last 3-4 years or something. Occasionally have to use goggle because others don't find anything.

duckduckgo, unless I really need it (technical stuff) - then, Google.

> it's futile to try to obfuscate and maintain personal privacy.
It's true, it's really hard to keep accounts + your true identity truly separate.

decentralized & blockbased ofc
you won't find shit on normieweb now

Baidu

i'm a bingfag too. the gift cards are awesome but take awhile to earn enough to get them. outside of that, i like the daily images and the news carousel. the results are almost exactly what google produces, their engine has come a long way over the years. as far as trust and privacy goes, i never had an issue with microsoft. they're both tech giants either way, but we all know who bill gates is. there is no such person that exists at google. if they're that shady about who really owns the company, why trust them in the first place.

DDG + yandex

>inb4 muh Russians

I tried DuckDuckGo for the better half of a year. It suffered from constant technical issues, I couldn't find articles I was interested in (even non-political stuff), and I noticed when I *did* search for political stuff it seemed to mirror Google's results. I did a quick search and the owner is a Jew. Gave up that quickly.

Switched to Bing and I've been rather satisfied. It still confusingly enough turns up "Republicans suppress minority voters" when you search for "Republican suppression", but at least when I search for "immigration is" it recommends things like "immigration is destructive", "immigration is down", and "immigration issues"

Because google is the best search engine by far. They're just being run by a bunch of fuckers

Youtube and google got really good the recent months. I watch a youtube video and there is a cool car in it, i open a new tab and start typing the brand and autocomplete gives me the exact model.

Or i watch a video, open a new tab and write the beginning of a quote related to the clip like something said in the movie that the clip is from but a quote thats not in the clip its self and google gives you that.

Its recognizing related thigs to the content you watched

i use a combination of the following
search engines:
bing
Qwant
Duckduckgo
browsers:
Brave
Firefox

I use Bing because I get Microsoft rewards. Its hardly worth it considering Bing sucks major ass

Honk honk
