Rent is proof that the non-aggression principle is a farce. I walk up to an empty house in the middle of no where and no one lives there, no sign of anyone being there in awhile, I move in. Landlord comes along, says its his house, I say I never agreed to any contract that I would give him money to live there, he calls his private police thugs and has me taken out by force. I am not doing any aggression and there was no contract for me to have either agreed with or disagreed with. The house was sitting there empty.

It's not just building restrictions. Land restriction has a much bigger impact. In fact it can cause house prices to go up without an increase of population or houses just because it makes the land more expensive. And these two things are almost always together which jacks up house prices.
