The dude simply had some form of bipolar disorder. That would be consistent with him saying and doing some of the stuff he did that got him kicked off of the platforms where he posted content, and he continued to escalate it. Then, he felt isolated and likely crashed into depression.
It happens all the fucking time, and people who experience it need to have a therapist at the very least, as well as really supportive family/friends otherwise they go off the deep end, sometimes literally.
