It was happenstance. We unironically bribed and took in a British industrial worker (in 1805ish) who knew how to make a machines to easily make textiles which spread the Industrial Revolution in America where before it was just in Britain and Belgium, and then we had an open door immigration policy to get cheap labor for those factories and we had slavery to produce the cheap cotton to make the textiles out of. Then we put up large tariffs on textiles, and eventually our textiles were the cheapest in the world.

We gave away land to immigrants to farm and brought down food prices, when other countries wanted to bring down food prices they had to lower tariffs, we just gave away land for people to farm.

Through 1800-1840 we had one of the biggest infrastructure spending project in human history to connect the lands east and west of the Appalachians. We built some of the world's longest canals at the time (the Erie Canal) which connected New York to the Great Lakes and long roads (the Cumberland Road) which connected Virginia and Washington to the Midwest and Mississippi River. Before this it took 31 days to go from New York to Saint Louis, now it took only 4 days.

It would seem it was ultimately because of the nature of the 'revolutionaries'.

The colonies in many ways were the proof of concept of the (Classical) Liberal, quasi-capitalist revolt and it's power. Simply the plan was to unite and empower the 'middle class' + bourgeois against the Mercantile overlord elite. So far, in revolution, this strategy has proven better than that of the socialist/Marxist, which is to weaponize the lower class to consume the middle class to attack the elites.

Now many of the 'founding fathers' were highly educated, albeit radical, in general, often with a good grasp on the thread of Western civ and philosophy. They decided to try something very ambitious.

But it can reasonably be assumed that with their more 'enlightened' abilities and knowledge they avoided many of the classic pitfalls of revolts. In particular they were able to resist the vengeful and chaotic opportunism and unstable violence that usually comes with a revolt carried out by the proles/low class/poor. On this point the founding fathers understood something very key to the whole thing. During the revolt they made the utmost effort to avoid this violence. They understood that, despite being basically 'white euros', they needed to appear completely 'civilized' to the other Euro powers. This means no wanton violence against Brits, no raping Brits, no public lynching, no death squads etc. (this is not to say things were perfect, and guerilla war tactics were used, but on the whole they avoided it) They knew the Brits had to look worse than them, and as long as they 'proved' to the world that they were not just rowdy upstarts who just wanted blood, the rest of the world would be forced into a position of sympathy.
MLK would much later use a version of this tactic and it worked again...

Most of the other revolts that followed, particularly the Haitian and French, were marred by the hyped mob chaos of purging violence, which turned them to monsters...
