Well, your first paragraph is mostly factual, so there's that. But if you're aware that there's nothing you can do about this, then why go on with these beliefs? All they do is cause you anguish and are very harmful to your mental health. Why worry about something you can't change?

Aristotle said democracy can work but only if society is homogeneous. If you have ethnic diversity, the population will not be joined by a sense of brotherhood, then the politicians will inevitably exploit their differences and turn various ethnic groups against one another to keep everyone distracted while they do whatever they want.
