European life is better... except, at the very high level of the income scale. America is a great place for very wealthy people.

I wanted to migrate, solely to be able to own firearms and be able to defend my property and family.

I quickly learned it's nigh impossible to migrate as a european. You effectively need someone to vouch for you, fill out paperwork for you and a secure employment lined up.

I wanted to mate.
I wanted to find a nice American lass, find a good job, accumulate a large amount of firearms, father 5 kids and die age 65 of liver failure surrounded by my Children and Grandchildren.
But I can't do that in the land of the unfree anymore.
A dream of an era gone.
Now all that lies before me is my homeland and the fight to make that dream real here.

Well you'd need to go back and look at why so many moved there in the first place (war, potato famine, gold-rush, escaping communism, etc) and see which conditions are no longer in Europe.
As a general rule, if their countries are doing ok, and if they still have the option to just move to some better part of Europe, then most won't have any need to move to the USA (or here).
