Those toilets are standard at all prisons built in the last 20 to 30 years. One button is for flush, one for hot, one for cold.

Sometimes the toilet part has a series of valves to detect if the toilet pipe is empty, meaning the inmate is "flooding" water out of the toilet, which causes all water to shutdown.

Some are built with a screw that goes down the center of the pipe junction to catch contraband.
