I got fired from my job today because I misused a pronoun
Apparently some people are not him/her?
???
>USA
No you didn't. People have free speech there.
>right to work states
OHHHH.
In those situations you need to immediately call the police and say the person threatened to go home and get a gun and kill you.
>anti-rights
please tell me more about Illinois/NY/wherever it is shithole you live in.
That's ok get on unemployment and foodstamps and shit and spend your time productively fighting the meme war and better understanding what we're up against.
Pro-tip: you weren't that valuable to the employer to begin with. You ever read about how all these rockstar executives, engineers, salespeople get away with all sorts of shit? That's because they actually provide massive value to their companies and it'd be stupid to fire them over some sexual harassment or sjw shit.
Makes sense.
The boss didn't think you were fuckable OP
Just grab a gun and take revenge in minecraft

sue for wrongful termination.
even though most states are fire-at-will, you can still sue for wrongful termination. Misusing pronouns is NOT protected by any US laws. So to be fired for misusing one is grounds for a lawsuit.
That is, as long as you can prove you had a stellar work record otherwise and there wasn't an underlying reason you got fired. You can make bank and unemployment.
Care to tell the story?
you called your transitioned coworker an apache attack helicopter?
Molotov them.
more important to be the truth-teller, user

Came here to post this.
Shouldve called them racist or claimed you were Muslim it probably would've back down about it's retarded neo pronouns
In the specific states they don't have to actually give you the reason, which means that he was fired for no reason and only figured out the reason on his own. That makes it "he said she said" typo of a case which in turn makes it impossible to fight.
Having said that I support no reason firing because it makes the workforce cheaper for the business. Some good people will be harmed by that but still it's a good law because the company can also fire a nigger for being a nigger.
...
(((Them)))
Bullshit nigger
If he was given those specific reasons during the exit interview, he has grounds. Obviously, nether of us have the full story, and seeing how this is most likely a shitpost, we will never get an accurate account of event. So, I will refrain from debating this specific incident.
That being said, I 100% agree with your assessment that fire-at-will is a good thing. I also believe in the right to sue. Both are a vital part of how America handles business and litigates disputes. If he has proof of what he claims, he absolutely has a right to sue his former employer. Just as the employer had the right to fire him for any reason. That does not make either action correct, it just means both are possible and both parties have legal options to sort out the matter in front of a judge.
This.
