the gov should make affordable housing defined as 'housing you can afford to buy outright after 2 years of minimum wage' (food, transport costs etc excl.), the only caveat is you have to remain on minimum wage for those 2 years, this stops richer people from buying up all the property. All of this would be funded by the government so no money lost
