Just watched season 3. As expected the SJW agenda has crept in full blast and is ruining the show. Two new characters introduced as main components purely because of their seething bitchiness and abject hatred for the opposite gender. On the one hand we have little Leticia, whos sole point of distinction is nasty sarcastic one liners. Then we have the Robin ''the alternative girl'' whos sole purpose is to denigrate Steve and be The Lesbian. Its also been observed that these characters where ''promoted'' by someone other than the directors
Now yes, im aware that this show isnt exactly der jude in terms of its redpillage, but it was decent 80s nostalgia and has a fuckton of information about the unacknowledged military projects and hidden esoteric stuff. Its a form of soft disclosure, and while it was never going to be the next xfiles it was fun to watch until THE AGENDA went into fucking overdrive.
The best i can hope for now is that those manhating cunts get eaten by a monster from the abyss or iced by russians. However this is not likely to happen due to the astroturf popularity behind the promotion of these characters.

I liked the first season. I never watched past that, since I heard it had gone full SJW. Why would anyone in their right mind, then, expect the third season to be any better?

I got the feeling Netflix may have forced the Duffers to make a character a lesbian late in filming. Because Robin and Steve hold hands, are always close together in shots when scared, she absolutely does tell him she was obsessed with him, then the bathroom scene with a episode and half left does a mid season ret-con and ignores all the obvious signs they were going to be a couple. Steve has went without a girl for the longest time and I think she was supposed to be the one for him but Netflix wanted a specific lesbian character. No one else could have been. Nancy obviously isn’t, Max obviously isn’t, the show is basically dead if Mike and Eleven’s relationship ends - Robin was the only character that they could do that with if they were forced to

I liked the 1st season. 2nd season was a rehash of the 1st season. Idk about the 3rd season. I was left pretty lukewarm after the 2nd one. Not really interested anymore.

Agreed that it’s soft disclosure. In the first episode alone, they’re telling us that the USA will most likely encounter an EMP attack. Shows a very similar looking machine to the hadron collider at CERN, opening doorways for demons to come through.
There’s another scene in a later episode that features a carnival ride that looks like a spaceship. It has a 666 on top of it. They’re admitting that “aliens” are not what the general public thinks they will be, and are in fact demons, part of the Antichrist system that is coming very soon.

I was told by so many people to watch season 1. I did. It was weak. I lost interest early and it never regained my attention. I realized they were just milking nostalgia and going for the 80s kid movie vibe. And that's fine, except that's literally all there was to it. It brought nothing else to the table.
