The whole arabic world will fuck us then. They were the major force behind it. If we burn their money our eceneomy will get serious hits. Revenage is still important in their cultur. Fuck Socialists.
Benjamin Foster
What a bunch of morons. That will increase the housing shortage even more. Also they have to compensate the owner with the market price which will cost billions.
It's so easy to fix the problem. >remove the height limit for buildings >deregulate the requirements for new constructions, it's simply not lucrative to build something new here in most cases >give the owner/landlord more rights That would solve the problem
Are these people asking to get killed? I mean .. have "an accident"?
People who own land to rent to other people are wealthy. Those wealthy people have the money to let things happen, don't they? Why would they think those people would not protect their belongings by any means before having it taken away by some lunatic who has no sense of ownership?
Fuck I need more popcorn. This is mental.

Are you Ok? You seem sick and I'm worried because there was something usefull in this answer.

germany is getting scary man, Von der Leyen becoming EU-council president is 110% clown world, its like they've just given up They've given up but they still have incredible authority, it is scary

>People who own land to rent to other people are wealthy. >Those wealthy people have the money to let things happen, don't they? thinking that those who really matter would ever be targeted for Enteignung... Brudi, you need to study revolutions closer
Blake Morris
Normally this general isn't worth it to give more complex answers
Owners do not want a deregulation, because that'd devaluate their property. This is true for the owners of the building land, for the owners of built flats, houses, etc., and for the owners of companies, building new flats, houses a.s.o. It's a speculative game; higher taxes on fallow land could solve the problem.
Landon Thomas

Dylan Williams
>higher taxes on fallow land could solve the problem. How? Nobody will build affordable apartment buildings if the construction costs are so damn high through over regulations.
James Stewart
You have yet to show anything close to a complex thought because every time a complex thought is provoked you go against it for the sake of it or deflect with "read loki lol"
you pull sargonisms all the time you smugly chuckling retard.

How many apartments and commercial space do you own?
Jackson Thomas
> gets accused of being a smugly chuckling retard > Acts like a smugly chuckling retard to prove the point
>higher taxes on fallow land could solve the problem. This won't solve the problem because the factors which discourages the Creation of new 'living space' are still there like for example heavy and unnecessary regulations that makes it very expensive to build something or the fear of getting dispossessed. So a higher tax on fallow land would probably lead to some shady kind of maneuver where you build something small to evade that tax. Also I am not sure how much of this fallow land is even available or in fact owned by the government (the old Airport)
Anthony Johnson
How did you acquire the funds to buy yours? For I for one fail to see much intellectual effort in laying down and collecting a thick wad of bills from the fool who agreed to pay that much money for access to your hole.

I beg to differ. I own a property and I don't give a flying fuck if its worth four or seven figures. For I do not intend on ever selling it. After all it's where I live. So other than fapping to it, a high figure isn't worth anything (and happens not to be my kink).
Blake Turner

fucking retards.
Bentley Fisher
so "you" are a multibillion housing corporation i guess? becasue this is what they talk about. fucking retard.
Christopher Parker
It wouldn't impair upon the cost of construction, but upon the cost of holding land; in fact, it'd deregulate more than it'd regulate, because it would embank monopolies on land.
This is correct; these plots aren't being sold, in order to increase their market value.

>Housing market is extremely easy to monopolize, if the government does not step in, because you need a fuckton of capital to build >government does not step in >huge corporations monopolize housing market >why is housing becoming more expensive?
the free market only works in the real estate market, when property is cheap and plenty available, so regular people can buy them and build their own homes. In Germany, this isn't the case outside of East Germany.
They either need to depopulate West Germany and forcefully resettle a big chunk of the population in East Germany or elsewhere (which is impossible with the current constitution), or the government needs to build a fuckton of cheap flats. Otherwise, prices will rise even further.
Jason Hernandez
They won't hit the multibillion guys only. Infact they have to resources to prevent the most dmg by spreading it to the lower wage calsses. Our justice minister already talked about a full fledge enteignung which would include me. Don't fall for the muh-multibillion-only-tactic. They betrayed people like you who actually belived this shit multiple times.
Eli Myers
also: there are actually enough flats and houses for all, but they are all expensive and nobody can afford then. Lots of flats are empty. Our population isn't rising and the total number of flats and houses aren't shrinking, but the total number of cheap flats shrunk enormously.
Isaiah Kelly
Again, why doesn't poor people just move to the east then for example?
David Price
>First they came for the real estate trust, and I did not speak out because I wasn't a shareholder

>Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak for me.

You are clearly not an investor and lack the mentality
Christopher Brooks
>nooooooo please let me pay expensive rents, I want to be a good goy and make the (((landlord))) lots of money!!!
Levi Hernandez
They just have to introduce the big crop tax and use this money for social programms. Which they even can't because its illegal to lower to much the rent prices in germany.
Isaac Rogers
because flats aren't chocolate bars and you can't move to another city, because it's cheaper there.
Are there jobs in the East? Is there a sufficient infrastructure in the East? If you have kids: can you just move away, or are they in school/Ausbildung?
Also: do the poor people have the resources and the money to move? Moving to the other side of the country isn't free.

This.

Also, lots of real estate in the cities falls to the state because the heirs decline it (they do that because it's "worth" enough to easily be past the 400K threshold where they'd have to pay a fuckton of inheritance tax).
Lucas Ward
>other factors Yes, there are other impairing factors, that worsen the situation, too; however, the speculative withholding of land is the main problem.
>lead to some shady kind of maneuver It's already the case, actually. Land owners, mostly farmers, do cultivate their suburban land, in order to avoid higher taxes or seizures. The tax would have to be more rigid, taxing suburban land, in general.

>I tell you my theory: poor people who claim their flat is too expensive are fucking retards that want the taxpayer to pay for their degenerate arm-aber-sexy lifestyle the average wage in Germany is lower than in the past, if you take inflation into account. > So what?
Maybe I need to jog your memory. You, Frollein, cited the fact that you owned a lot of real estate as proof for not being at the intellectual level of a child. I gave you the chance to demonstrate that acquiring that property required intellectual effort on your part. You failed to demonstrate having put in such intellectual effort.
Hence my conclusion: you may be a rich fool, but a fool you are nonetheless.
Charles Reyes
You're a socialist retard.
Jayden Price
the prices were already fucking high pre-2014. Even if you kick out all fugees, that won't do much. You would have to forcefully resettle the city dwellers into the rural areas and our current Grundgesetz does not allow that.
Juan Murphy
You can get a GG for free also it's available online
>Not in the places where people want to live If people want to live in the high-rent places, its their own choice.
If they cant afford it, they can easily move to the more affordable suburbs and surrounding countryside (which would in the middle terms also lower rental prices in the inner cities).

>It is nowhere near a 'monopol' not yet. A lot of owners sell their houses to big corps, when their inherit it from their parents, because the inheritance tax fucks them and they do not have enough cash to pay it. Especially in big cities like Berlin, München or Stuttgart.
>Do you even know what 'monopolize' mean? yes. But when "Wohnungsbaugenossenschaften" own a big chunk of the housing market, the price do not inflate that much, because they usually do not try to maximize their profit. And if they do, the mayor does not get reelected. Happened in my city.
>Because more people want to live in the big cities so there's an increasing demand for flats while at the same time the government hamper the Building of new ones so that the supply cannot increase. not wrong, but that's not the only reason. Look at, how many Sozialwohnungen we lost since 1990.
>Real estate is so cheap in the east because there are so few people who want to live there in the first place. yes.
>That didn't work out in the DDR and will neither today. so it only works out, when private corporations build expensive flats? That doesn't work too.
>Not in the places where people want to live I live in a small Großstadt near Stuttgart, the second most expensive region in the entire country. You would be surprised, how many flats here are treated as investment objects.
>The problem is that many people go to the big cities (also many immigrants move there) so that there the rents go up while in many rural areas they go down because the people move away.
like I said, that's only one of the many reasons.

Sorry, darling. but you played your chances 50 posts ago. not gonna click that link. Next time you get to be right when you either speak like a normal human being or cite your sources right after.
>>other factors >Yes, there are other impairing factors, that worsen the situation, too; however, the speculative withholding of land is the main problem. The idea is to remove the regulations so that it's more profitable to build something than to withhold the ground. You want to act against the symptoms which isn't smart because the problem stay the same. The better thing to do is to tackle the root of the problem which is the restraining of the creation of new buildings.

>Low Unemployment, low debt, Germany came nearly undamaged out of Finanzkrise due to flexible job-market.
lol, if you only knew how much tax payer money the government actually spends for training programs for unemployed people, so that they declare them employed. Or that unemployed people over 58 aren't counted as unemployed. The official stats are bullshit and we subsidize the job market with a fuckton of taxpayer money, especially all those Arbeitsvermittler and Zeitarbeitsfirmen.
