I've read this article twice now and although it has good points it utterly ignores the biggest weakness of the Left: its diversity.
The "Left", as most of us think of it, is a collection of disparate tribes welded together into an influential voting bloc by a shared reliance on government gibs and a (((media))) fueled fear of whitey. They completely lack unity on a racial, ethnic, religious, or even ideological level: they're a horde of misfits, and the only reason they're able to be weaponized as a group is because (((they))) have drawn a line in the sand with straight, Christian whites on one side and literally everything else on the other.
The reason this article is garbage is because, in this hypothetical full scale civil war scenario, the government is no longer able to provide a steady stream of cheese to the brown hordes, and (((media))) access will likely also be disrupted. When that comes, what two groups of people are more likely to come together and fight for each other: a Somalian Muslim fresh off the boat and a Mexican Communist tranny, or a white, Protestant man and a white, Catholic man?

A lot of their tactics require the conditions they had to function at all. Say, their institutional infiltration. It worked, because they got friends into institutions, they then helped other friends get in, set policy, and so on, all at the loss of mostly centrist-conservative former establishment of the institutions that was mostly sporting and nice about it through the whole multi decade process.
But what would happen if the right tried it now? Well, they won't be allowed in, and if they sneak through somehow, there are legions of wannabe political commissars trying to get them fired for the slightest reasons 24/7. The only things that will get them to give up these positions are bankrupcy or some kind of police. There is no way they will give them to any right wing heretic against the progressive gospel willingly.
The right obviously needs to take a different route to power than that. Probably going to involve either rendering those institutions irrelevant or outright forcing out the current establishment.
Same goes for policy with violence. The right likes law and order to take the leftist's way. Also the left's way is very half-measure filled, the right doesn't like that. If the right takes a violent route, it will have some kind of army\law enforcement with it, and will make wide use of it.

I think the biggest Achilles heel the leftists face is the fact that their cities are so multicultural. With the largest minority in their cities being blacks. White lefties will be raped and killed first, then the latinxs face off against the blacks, depending on area and population some areas they win and some they lose.
