DBZ is filled with Christian themes. Goku is much like Jesus and Frieza like Lucifer. I went through a DBZ phase where I watched all of Kai before I became a Jow Forumsack so maybe there is a lot of virtue to the show. The only aspect I don't like is the what doesn't kill you makes you stronger theme which puts a bad taste in my mouth because it reminds me of the sjw glorification of suffering.
