When I studied math I constantly felt like a brainlet in college, but I was taking all graduate math courses my last 2 years. I graduated 3 years ago. Last year I reread all my old math textbooks, very slowly, on the subway to work every day and they make so much more sense now.
I think the lecture format and tendency for professors to skip around assuming we already knew everything actually fucked with me, but teaching myself the same material reminds me why I used to love math at all.

Also had a psychology professor email the entire class (like 200 kids) saying he "just doesn't feel like himself anymore" and how despite all his years as a clinical therapist, he "just can't quite understand what kind of hatred would bring so many Americans to vote for Trump like they did" and he spent about a 2 hour lecture just talking about it. I walked out after 15 or so minutes and came back at the end and said, kind of loudly, "is he STILL whining about politics?" I got a 99% in his class cause introductory psychology is a fucking joke but jesus bleeding heart liberals should not be allowed to teach.
