It’s basing its decision off other captcha user decisions. In many cases you don’t know it, but you could select ANY squares and it won’t tell you you are wrong.

On mobile I discovered (or maybe it's a coincidence) that if you move your screenframe or finger on screen while captcha is loading, it doesn't ask you to complete it. It goes auto-checked in something like 70/80% of the times.
