I was not aware that there was some sort of something building up in Syria again. Good for you guys. I'm not sure why we're still engaged there beyond whatever is appropriate for maintaining stability as mutually agreed upon by Syria, Russia, and the US.

Oh, we do. There's only so much a small country can take in, and we're desperately calling for an agreement among EU states to relieve the border states where the refugees actually arrive, currently that (private!!!) boat which arrived in Italy, spread them across member states who can afford it etc. And getting rid of welfare migrants who are not legit war refugees is an open talk in the media as well.

I hope your actions and the actions of other "allies" cause us to redefine our alliances and what our actual strategic needs are; I'm not so much saying I approve of the Syrian situation as I'm saying that all the insults, propaganda, and shirking of international agreements by you people force me to consider that Europe is not our friend at all.
