You have these tiny computers in your pocket, that only serve the purpose of bringing you down. The collective memory of all humans has gone to shit. We don't need to remember things anymore, because we can look it up on the internet. Family values have been lost for damn near 30 years if not more. We are all self centered, no matter which way you look at it.
Yes, we do wish for people to be brought to justice but only because it serves it interests of self. We are no longer have thoughts but instead have ideas that have been planted deep within out minds from the time we are born.
I often wonder what my great grand parents would say about the world if they could see it now.
They didn't have information at the speed of light, and that could've been for the better. There was time to think clearly and critically then. Now information spreads so quickly we do not have the mental capacity to keep up with it anymore.
The future will only bring more and more sooner, and those who do not follow along with the depression will isolate themselves and their family, causing a split in the human race once again.

Tldr; information moves too quickly, and the way to fix humanity is to eliminate the information stream or at least slow it down

Other than medical taxes and such humans need very little to live. Im currently making plans for a Quonset hut home. It will never need a new roof or walls and getting up is quick and relatively cheap. I garden and hunt. I dont live like a redneck tho. I hate rednecks. I tend to fish for my leisure as I find is very relaxing plus food when I make a catch.

Store bought food is also cheap depending on how you shop. Pasta is always cheap and filling, Rice dishes also can be made many different ways. Poultry are my few chickens as well as eggs and the most I spend on food is meat such as beef. I live in a populated town but we have a good amount of space between us.

My entertainment is a large flatscreen to watch tv on and my projects. Other entertainment will be my children. Watch funny baby videos to see how entertaining they are. Christmas will be a 50-75 dollar limit. Gifts are nice but NOT the point of Christmas as being together with my aunts,uncles and cousins when I was younger are the best memories I have of Christmas.

Working 40 isnt bad if you got a job that doesn't soul suck you. The whole point about off grid kinds stuff for ME isnt so much being self sustaining,although that of course feeds it also,its about not being controlled by a loan or netflix or debt
