ROTC is not the military, nor is JROTC for HS faggots thinking they're operators. The only time I drank more water than I needed to drink was during basic training at the end of the night. They make you drink the entire canteen, then tip it upside down, they'll listen for the sound of water hitting the drill pad. In my 5 year "tenure" as a specialist shield squad, I've never gone through a "CHUCK YOUR CANTEEN!" again.. During AA training school, they actually make you refill your canteen throughout the 12 mile ruck march, if you aren't full by the end of the march, you fail the fucking march, you drink what you need to get through it.
