Now, if you want to make the case that Trump listens to his advisers too damn much, I won't argue that. He has had to fire some appointees several times, after seeing them in action, and replace them.
The key here is that Trump had no strong ties to Epstein other than a NYC real estate developer with a NYC hedge fund manager. They weren't "friends" and even the Trump-hating media balks at saying that, preferring to use the word "acquaintances."
He didn't hang around Epstein the way Clinton did, never visited Epstein's rape island the way Clinton did, and only hitched a ride with Epstein's son once on the "Lolita express" from Florida to NYC, on business (I notice, too, that Epstein's son and brother do not seem to be involved in his child trafficking, and have been cooperating with the cops).
The police have stated many times that Trump aided them in their investigations, without hesitation, and it has been reported Epstein now hates Trump, and blames him for all his current and past problems with the police.
There, that is the truth.
Trump is not a person of interest in any of this, by any police agency.
