Stop being retarded. Stalin delayed his agreed upon attack-date to make the world opinion turn against Germany. That was what Stalin wanted - that's why he made the conflict between the Polish-jews and the Germans in Polish occupied Germany happen. The only reason Stalin figured he had to attack at all (even after delaying 2 weeks) was because the German push stalled after 2 weeks - nearly out of fuel - and it looked like it was going to become a long drawn out war with uncertain outcome.

Stalin didn't want that. He wanted a big shared border to Germany so he could attack later - while he hoped Germany would be occupied with France and UK. Not really. The nazis had made several pacts they broke before. They violated Versailles. They did the anschluss. Then they signed and broke the munich pact. It was obvious at that point pacts meant nothing to them and they're gonna keep on expanding. The soviets, in contrast, never made any agreements that they violated.

The germans, after invading poland, started moving into the parts that were promised to the soviets. This was a blatant provocation. There is a story of the soviet military attache going to meet the germans and they had, on the table, on the war map, german troops moving into the soviet territory. It does not, the only thing that has been added since the war is guilt. The only things that have remained are those that existed before the war and were not getting in the way of the guilt.

If they felt they had to power to make it manifest and not be destroyed for trying they would rise up.
