Rebuilding/moving only the coastal cities that are going underwater to inland areas is actually more environmentally friendly (think of concrete, steel, etc and energy saved) than scrapping and rebuilding every single building in all US cities to fight climate change.
The balloon is a sign that the party is there to prop up Trump. They don't have policies themselves, they simply want the opposite of what Trump is doing. They did the same when they said "love trumps hate" in 2016.

Everything we're seeing right now is theatrics and they're planning the formation of a socialist party to happen for 2024.
