Memes aside what the fuck is that thing?
Dronecopter hoverboard
Itll make bull prepping a lot faster
Flyboard Air made by Franky Zapata
what the fuck, why does he have an AR?
BLUE BEAM CGI DONT FALL FOR THESE SHILL TRICKS
Para-Troopers just took on a whole new meaning.
The US army trialed this but with a wrap around podium in the 60s or 70s but it wasn't reliable enough and the flight times were too low. Looked cool though.
Hobgoblin ready to bash the fash
This is proof that all those negros are engineers and scientists after all
You need to burn for that retarded video
>Zapata Racing claims that it allows flight up to an altitude of 10,000 feet (3,000 m) and has a top speed of 150 km/h (93 mph). It also has 10 minutes autonomy
Yea, 10 minutes isn't much use unless you can make them cheap enough to ditch after you drop off
>The Green Goblin attacks G20 summit
In all seriousness, did an independent inventor make this?
I've been wanting something like this since childhood. Governments couldn't do it, corporations couldn't do it..but some inventor does.
Proof that our economy is totally broken. We waste so much money and time on things that don't matter, when we should be making things like this.
I think i saw this on an MST3K episode in the early 90s
Seems to be a pissing contest-youtube.com
how long does the battery last
The worst : the guy had a hard time to test it because of laws, while amerimutts were all over him to get the technology
Impressive
a whole 17 mins
The wiki says 10
>Bei uns stürzen die Helikopter und Kampfjets ab, wenn man sie überhaupt zum Starten bringt und die Franzosen haben fliegende Soldaten :O

'50s technology

Crazy mofo looks so out of place, like some kind of Garrysmod Admin. So surreal.
Wrong. His "flyboard" uses miniature jet engines, not too dissimilar to "jetman" Yves Rossy. The hoverboard in your video uses rotors like on a helicopter to create lift.
FAKE, it's photoshoped
Imagine flocks of niggers atop these things descending upon random stores and flying away with hundreds of thousands in loot
Just german taxpayer money at work.
France doesn't receive a dime from germany, we give more to the EU than we reveive too
"humanity" is not ready for this technology.
That thing is not safe. Very hard to control and if you stall its game over for you. There is a reason the US military abandoned the project to build this kind of thing decades ago.
? It's french.
>That thing is not safe.
you think?
Well, all those joint dogfighting exercises proved french pilots are better than american ones (or Rafales are better than F22 but somehow I think it's less likely)
it will probaly only see a very limited use inside sepcial forces, so who cares.
Lol okiedokie Nigel, keep thinking that when we liberate you from the Caliphate in a few years on an armada of Goblin Gliders.
if you stall, have a backup gliders, chutes
What the fuck is that?
I know the version with water though.

Individual air superiority is a monstrous thought.
I can see a civil use for them. Anything militarily would need more armor making it inoperable.
there was another old youtube video of a similar machine that supposedly used electromagnetic propulsion, anyone has this?
Looks pretty cool. Imagine going to work with that and after the day it's charged 100% again. Is the battery in the backpack or inside board?
With a decent AI correcting human errors to stay stable, this thing could be much safer and useful for military purposes.
>BLUE BEAM CGI DONT FALL FOR THESE SHILL TRICKS
yea, this is a FAKE CGI, DEBUNKED !!!
>French inventor invents the future
I assume that levitation device can only be activated be niggers and includes a welfare check once landed.
With modern day gyros and computer controls it is probably a lot more capable than what the US had in the 50s and 60s. Real limiting factor is range/time of flight. Though I don't see much use for it when you could have a drone with a turret that would be faster, more maneuverable, quieter, and would not put a pilot in harms way.
>green goblins real
holy fuck..
it uses jetfuel an tiny jet engines
Based. I love my army even more now.
Yeah, just saw him this morning but this was clearly living CGI
this is just the beginning. Zapatata is curently developping a specific turbo reactor for his flyboard.
CGI
>#Breaking: Just in - The French military has unveiled a new piece of military technology, a #Flyboard that can fly up to 2 KM of height and can go to speeds up to 200KM a hour. #BastilleDay #France
twitter.com
It only works for 20 min tho.
He from Area 51
>Yeah, just saw him this morning but this was clearly living CGI
it's a group hallucination, they explain that on WIKIPEDIA
check mate
>drop outside enemy radar range
>fly 30km with your footcopter
>deploy parachute and land without being seen
The problem isn't performances, the problem is finding a tactical use ( you're a perfect target for anyone with a gun or even a slingshot ) and finding people capable of mastering this things in less than 15years.
Can I get a quick rundown?
the stabilization was the bulk of the work: "This was the biggest difficulty of development. To create an algorithm that manages to make my legs and engines get along. We spent four months developing it to achieve the result we know today. "
crosscall.com
Controled Gravitationnal Impulse ?
>20 minutes
At 200 km per hour, that is a whopping 65+ kilometers in any direction.
>the problem is finding a tactical use
this thing would have been great in the vietnam war, to project forces. perfect for penetration and esquive.
Put some lightweight shielding on it to protect from ground fire and arm the pilot with a bunch of handheld explosives, it's literally a motherfucking Goblin Glider.
>Put some lightweight shielding on it to protect from ground fire and arm the pilot with a bunch of handheld explosives
soon...
Computer-generated imagery
I guess it works for infiltration... but a small helicopter does it too. And faster.
We are truly living in a Cyberpunk world.
With all the trees ? What's the value against copters ?
That's just the green goblin.
yea, we are making a FAKE
Great news, we have invented the first 3d portable holographic projector in the air !
Penetration.
Don't have to make them cheap. Just load up lorries with them. open top hatch, and now the human bombs have lets say 8 min to arrive to their place of destination. If you do it with enough people you could terrorise whole towns, and no parliment or seat of power right now, save maybe some in Russia are ready for a sudden closer range arial attack.
Helicopters are huge, slow, and loud. You've could deploy more people, but it also uses more fuel. These little bastards would be great for quick infiltration for a small unit. It basically turns infantrymen into airmen.
No, that's not the first time that we see it.
The Supreme Retreater 3000
Imagine some cops on it. They could throw tear gas from it.
You could also just launch missiles, that's a lot easier
>invents the future
Shit's already old. They wanna impress me? Put a fusion reactor in it and go to the fucking moon.
Quite an interesting obelisk in the background
They already throw tear gas from helicopters just fine.
>These little bastards would be great for quick infiltration for a small unit. It basically turns infantrymen into airmen.
this
How would that get refueled in battle?
By the way, those RCs are really crappy in contrast.
>obelisk
?
only that requires you to buy military grade stuff, that can be tracked, transports a missle rack to a good position fire it, and the people that do fire are going to try to run. With suicide bombers from the sky, equiped with stuff for extrem sports and deployed from a truck, you could set the swarm out from as close as few meters to the target.
I was joking, it's real stuff but pseudo-skeptics are very funny
it's probably quite easy to shootdown and it seems like it makes a ton of noise
America already achieved this like 60 years ago lol
Yeah in Toulouse, over a big place. With that, they can quickly fly over the riot and throw tear gas, even in a street. That might be too dangerous for the cops tho, I don't really know. I bait they want it right know, everyone is rioting in Champs-Elysées.
How do you refuel a copter in battle ?
americans did it better
>It only works for 20 min tho.
Yes, that mean 5 min. Also I4m sure it's loud as fuck. I saw somewhere it drink a gallon/min.
>mid flight refuelling
