It just takes one moment for a pitbull in ten years for it to mistake something for aggression and maul somebody on instinct. Nurture vs Nature
No matter how much you want it to be otherwise, the pitbull line is damaged at the genetic level. Nurture can mask that, sometimes, but you still have an animal that is prone to snapping.
