If doubles invest in Ford stock.

>cuck market
i made millions off the 500 BTC i had in an old wallet that is from my shitposting days on SA

Dundee corporation.
A gold mining holding company.
Gold mines have been on the rise, this holding company has not.
Equity in holding is now 8 times the mcap of the company.
There might be something that I looked over, but if not this is a 10 bagger.

I moved from VGT to VWO over the last couple of months.

Yeah, but unless BTC hits a million bucks, can't really replicate that.

crash coming next week.

kek, penny stock but I bet we could pump that shit
(In minecraft SEC)

>Jow Forums is the smartest board
OH NO NO NO NO

If I'm going to bump this thread, take all shitcoin talk to:

buy some puts

Absolutely is true
Jow Forums is best board
Jow Forums comes 2nd

>shitcoin
i've already traded some for gold. i have 10lbs of solid gold in my gun safe. cry more

>i have 10lbs of solid gold in my gun safe
well it's 5kg so it's closer to 11 lb

Yeah, but no one is going to be able to replicate your success. So you're just kinda bragging. I mean, bully for you and shit I wish I had 10 Lbs of gold but let's try to make other anons rich.

>let's try to make other anons rich
>off of the stock market

absolutely possible
I'm not talking buying and holding here

btw I do own some BTC and other cryptos but volatility scares a lot of people off.

Stock market is overvalued right now. Everyone is predicting a recession. I am a poorfag but have managed to save up 10k and plan to invest right after the next major 2008 style crash. Until then I just save and try to learn more about stocks and investing. (I might buy some more silver too)

You could always put a portion into put options if you are expecting a crash. Or just short SPY or DIA. A lot of these tech companies are amazing short targets, they make no money and live off burning investor cash. When the tide goes out, everyone is gonna notice that they're swimming naked.

if you're expecting a recession then gold and other precious metals are a good investment

I put my money in 5.75% interest loans (compiled monthly)

You'd think people knew where their threads belong.
The moderation on this board is shit now.

Yeah, that'd be great if biz wasn't entirely shitcoin pump attempts

I cant stand Jow Forums
all they want to talk about is the next shitcoin
and none of them are nearly educated enough to talk economics

From what I have read precious metals will protect you from inflation but not much else. They have their place but I am trying to get rich. I have and continue to get some metals, but want to be able to act when everyone else is doing the fire sale dance.

>put a portion into put options if you are expecting a crash.
Only thing is I don't know if it will be in 5 months or 5 years. But I am learning about stuff like put options and what not. Probably not best to mess with stuff like that until I have a better lay of the land when it comes to investing in general. But the advice is appreciated and I am gonna look into it.

One solid play is FAZ triple leveraged ETF - when the economy tanks again! you buy it everyday in in the Am and sell it everyday at close while it gets rebalanced overnight - a few thousands can return a million.

When the market finally turns around buy FAS Another ETF and do the same thing and ride it back up.

These only work when the market makes big swings.

Yeah, don't dip your toes into options until you've really really educated yourself on them. Easy to lose everything if your plays don't pan out.

faggots

Homie see my post FAZ is a good play in a crunch down but read up since it’s 3x leveraged and rebalanced nightly.

nigger sell covered calls an cash secured put options. don't be a poor, being a poor is a choice.

Financefag here with a 15 to 20 year horizon. I invest every month in established companies CVX, KO, ABBV, MSFT. I have also built substantial positions in in V, MA, and PYPL. I also like to make short term speculative plays on tech companies. Keep 10% of my portfolio in cash 10% in SPY and try to rebalance and harvest losses once a year.

30k shares of AVEO pharmaceuticals. been a wild ride. should hit cap gains 1 yr when fda approval decision is made in sep this yr.
might loose 20k, might make 1m+

There is something called Breadth which is an extremely reliable indicator for getting in or out of the Market. There are very few signals per year. I use Stockcharts which is free unless you want to store your charts. Investing is MANDATORY if you don’t want to be a wage slave. Just buy the index eg SPY or DIA and watch for occasional signals which warn you to get out.

This thread is literally why exists. Spam the shit out of this there, link it here, and get those cuck coin faggots to stop shitting up the board.

What kinds of loans? Where do you buy them? What risk rating do they have? Thanks user

Keep a look out on daily treasury yield curve rates. When 12 month rate is > 20 yr rates, you got about 6-12 months to sell your stocks.

Currently Trump has been able to prevent the inevitable inverted yield curve which is crazy since the US is in the longest expansion period or a period without a recession in its history and is not expected to be in a recession for more than a year.

What does this mean? Invest in S&P 500 Index Fund. Keep an eye on when the 1yr rate is > than 20 yr. Sell in 3 months. Don't do put of call options, that can be considered gambling as noone without insider trading can predict short term stock market prices.

Watch your stocks rise and your rate of return to be about 9-10%. This is triple the rate of return of GICs or what the bank will guarantee to give you in exchange of holding your money.

That's all there is to it.

BTC just took a hit because of what Trump said. It's going to go back up soon, so capitalize on it while you can. We can all make some good money.

So I've got a neighbor that works for the unemployment office. He said that they've been experiencing really heavy claim volume. Could just be regional, I'm in the midwest. I think we're about topped.

Jow Forums is among the dumbest boards, just because it predicts happenings, doesn’t mean the board is smart.

I fucked up my up/down cycle trading shit yesterday, lost $50. Sad!

If you are talking about Minnesota, no shit. Increase the number of Somali refugees means increase in claim volume.

It isn't topped yet, use the yield curve rates to predict when the recession will hit. The inverted yield curve is the best known predictor of a coming recession.

Dollar cost average things that pay a reliable dividend.

That's sensible advice, but I keep $10k in my brokerage account for speculative investing and $1k for coinfagging.

It's Iowa

3/4 of the companies i invested in have lost between 25-75% of my monies over a year.
I specifically looked for ones with potential for massive gains which comes with obvious risks. Safe investments were boring since they made about as much as an interest rate.

I did it as a learning experience and the lesson I learnt is that its indeed fruitless to rely on any advice or believe any guide.
One of the companies worked out, it was heavily shorted but rebound with a short squeeze that could have doubled my investment if i didnt pull out at a 20% win.
Another company looked like it had good prospects, but i invested on the wrong end of the peak, and it lost heavily. Funnily enough this company was advertised on the bank trading portal i used and came up with a good p/e ratio which everyone tells you to look for.
From this i got the impression that p/e is a meme and even with healthy finances the company can fail to make gains.

Every bit of news you read is priced in by the market before you can really act on it so you can research as heavily as you want but you're still guessing on events that havent transpired yet. Even if you read on day zero that a company widget could sell well in a year, someone already invested on that prospect and anything short of a win will lose money.
