It's really as dull as can be. I show up and do the work for some weeks. I don't socialise with any coworker but I don't hesitate to email or talk to anyone for the purpose of work. Literally zero issues.
Then one day I happen to be in a meeting with my boss, alone, and she goes crazy and says I am not enough of a team player and I don't have good communication skills etc. This is her being really angry and shouting, which I hadn't seen before.
She gives some laughable examples of my lack of communication. I mean genuinely trivial crap, a lot of it untrue or distorted. It's remarkable how she distinctly does not mention a thing about my ability to do the actual work, which requires me to contact about 20 people regularly. She mentions no errors on my part in terms of work.
And now my trial period will end soon and I really doubt I will be kept on.

Reiterate that as you understand it your work is exemplary and your written communication skills are satisfactory but you recognize some interpersonal skills need improvement. Ask her to provide examples of men, not women, who are being successful in this area and then ask if she could set you up with a mentor.
I noted the main points of the conversation in email and other people have seen it, including her boss. It includes my disagreements and the fact that she was aggressive.
I talked to her boss but I am pretty sure they have already decided to get rid of me. I talked to my manager's manager but I think she wants to just agree with my manager and let me go. My manager's manager was lying a bit and was more subtlely against me in my meeting with her.
