Can we all agree that unless you live in a top 5 urban area, the quality of life in the US kinda sucks?
Small towns are dead/dying. Mid-size urban areas are basically just repeating strip malls with the same 10 types of stores. People are addicted to drugs and live on welfare handouts. There are no strong social support systems or communities. All of the infrastructure (which sucks anyway) is so car-centric that you just end up driving around all day without any human interaction.
It's only worth living here if you are in the top 10-15% of earners and live in a major city. The rest of the country is so spread out and boring.

When you go to the """major urban areas""" its all the same world wide. I saw the same shitty hipster coffee places with red brick "rustic" bullshit in London, Berlin, New York and Chicago. I saw the same god damn apartments that look like glorified dorm rooms. Everybody shops at the same set of clothing stores and reads the same Der Spiegel clone. If I have to choose one prepackaged hell, I'll take the one where I'm not trapped with yuppie drones and the rest of the city being the minorities which serve them.

Quality of life in urban areas is trash. It’s almost impossible to own anything or have more than one kid unless you move to the burbs. You’re living in a place designed for impoverished Irish and Italian immigrants with a six figure salary. Sidewalks, parks, etc are overcrowded and full of homeless. The only advanage is the restaraunts and attractive singles.
If you’re in a rural area you can actually afford to have kids and not be a Mario playing little soi. So that makes them better despite the depressing big box stores

Every area has advantages and disadvantages. If you're relatively young and seeking adventure, being in a city gives you a lot more to do and more young people to meet. If you're a bit older and want a better family situation, small cities have many more advantages and more living space. If we could just segregate niggers, cities would be worth it for a lot more people. Until then, I'd say a nice quiet mostly white small town that has some rural parts and is within comfortable driving distance of a city might be the best living situation for a lot of people who want to avoid niggers.

Unless you get married shortly after school, you're pretty screwed in a small town. A lot of the women stuck in small cities in their salon or grocery store jobs become disgusting whales. You're right OP. But you'll never convince people here otherwise.
This of course is the big problem about modern conservatism, neofascism, paleo-conservatism: the modern right in general. Old school conservatism, and Teddy Roosevelt is a great example of this, actually regularly admitted arbitrary inequalities and attacks on public space, means of building community, infrastructure, etc. Teddy's nationalization of the parks would be unthinkable to the modern conservative policy-wise, even though it's actually very in line with conservative values. Modern conservatism, for whatever reason (largely self-interested strategy for the now old guard to maintain power) is committed to not acknowledging that anything is wrong structurally--no criticism of the state's function unless it relates to gun ownership and military funding. Everything is kept on the cultural/moral level.
Now the problem with this is that you can't really win with this over a long period of time. Say even in the long run the conservatives are able to keep winning elections (which I think is likely) and pass a lot of their policies and whatnot: the underlying discontent won't go away, since many of them are now associated with "progressive" thought: better infrastructure, smaller military, higher wages, accessible healthcare, more vacation, cheaper education, and so on. Of course, none of these things are at all inherently left-wing. I mean Nixon's administration actually ran on some of these, particularly the healthcare stuff, since FDR made the concept of an American welfare state nearly a centrist position for a couple decades until Reagan and Neoliberalism came around.
In any case, by not admitting these basic problems the American right is setting themselves up for a massive backlash, at least in the long run (again, I think they'll keep winning for another election cycle or two, or three.)
