I went to a JC and then a local state school. I majored in a stem field and I worked all through college. I graduated debt free and now have a great job. Those who went to an expensive out of state school and majored in a social science deserve their debt curse.

Let's say you ran a business that sold widgets. Let's say the government would give almost anyone who wanted a widget a loan to buy one. You then massively Jack up the prices of the widgets over several years because no matter the price, the government will give out the loans for people to buy widgets and you can make bank.
This is what happened with college tuition. The only fix is to ban college loans, or will greatly reduce social mobility temporarily but employers will come to their senses and hire people who dont have degrees again afterwards.
