There is not enough food in the wild to feed this many, even if they were all expert hunters. The only reason our population has grown to this level is the specialization that I'm talking about. Almost 80% of the population worked in food production before the industrial revolution, now it's less than two percent (in the U.S.). That's possible because of all the technology created by people that don't need to spend their time making their own food. So if we want to go back to a more simple homesteading time. Thats fine but you aren't going to have any modern luxuries and most of the population won't be sustainable.
