SERIOUS QUESTION

What decisions could Hitler of made differently to win the war.

Start from the second he took power in 1933

Dont say shit that he had no way of knowing about
E.G. magically has the intuition to guard the fuck out of Normandy on d day

Don't go for staligrad

So ignore Russia altogether or what?

there was literally no way for him to win unless US and the UK decided to completely stay out of it and he, by some miracle, took over the entirety of the frozen wasteland known as Russia and all European countries from there. Only then would he have a chance at going against USA. Even then he would have issues only because he would be the one who has to create the millions of boats that will be needed.

He should have convinced the rest of west to help him invaded the Soviet Union from the start. Most western leaders where afraid of the Soviet Union and socialism spreading

stalingrad was too out of the way.. should have just kept going straight through moscow and kept the armies within reinforcement distance

Nah he almost won even with the constant mistakes he made. almost all of Russia population lives lives west of or barley east of Moscow.

youtube.com/watch?v=5agLW7fTzBc&t=1838s

then what with Stalingrad after that

Be the first to develop nuclear weapons, attack SU and UK prior to invasions

Taking over Russia would've been easy. Stalingrad looked like a German victory throughout most of the battle until German supplies were cut off, but that wouldn't have happened if Germany didn't have to worry about Britain. Stalingrad would've been a loss had Stalin not been able to order troops from the East that were to protect the Soviet Union from the Japanese. Japan would've invaded the USSR instead of the USA. Germany had the most technologically advanced military in WWII, and would've benefited from all of the infrastructure and factories that would've been gained from most of Europe and the USSR. The US military was no were near as big back then as it is today, the military industrial complex was much, much smaller. Germany and Japan would've had an easy time with the US.

>Dont say shit that he had no way of knowing about

Not attacking Russia.

meme'nth reich reporting in!

thanks for making this thread, OP

Idk if stalingrad was all that important. the idea was that he would get the oil fields in the caucusus but they never got a drop from them yet still were able to fight the rest of the war. Sending an army as far out as that was just asking to get surrounded so idk

lebensraum in africa?

You must do your dooty fren

no really.

i really really appreciate it

keep up the good work

You daydream a lot about it too don't you?

watch the video i posted

Also dont change targets randomly in the middle of the battle of britain. Possibly the "one single decision" that fucked the war for him

Literally could of just said fuck Barbosa kept the pact with Russia and ran the English channel campaign. Would of taken over most if not all of England before the US even entered. He severely underestimated the winter and the Soviets tactics.

Or at least, instead of diving the South Group between the offensive to Baku and Stalingrad, just have the entire group move to Baku.

yeah sometimes i toy with this line of reasoning. The main counterargument would be that war was inevitable and that Barbarossa really couldn't have gone better up until they reached moscow

>Most western leaders where afraid of the Soviet Union and socialism spreading
Too bad their (((puppeteers))) were more afraid of Nazi Germany, notice how both the Soviet Union and Germany invaded Poland, yet which country did Britain go to war with?

Make a peace deal with Britain by releasing France (except Alsace-Lorraine), and keeping the rest of Poland, the Lowlands, and so forth.
Also, don't sign the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact. Instead, offer a coalition with Finland, the Baltic states, Romania, and possibly even Poland to defend against the Communist horde.

elaborate. you talking about how he decided to bomb London instead of military and industrial targets.

Maybe harness resources in Africa and the middle east then go for russia

Ww2 was such a mistake. Germany started it by invading Poland to gain land and the only thing that happens is they end up losing more land than they had in the start.
Millions of white lives are lost, all of Europes empires fall and all the white countries of the world handed over to non-whites on a silver platter.
All of that just for nothing pretty much

Should have killed the solders in Dunkirk

>Make a peace deal with Britain by releasing France
A peace deal was offered long before the invasion of France. It was, obviously, declined.

>What decisions could Hitler of made differently to win the war.
Not start the war in the first place because there is no realistic way he could ever win a war against the USSR or the USA, let alone both at the same time.

To be fair, Germany invading Poland broke the Munich agreement. UK didn't sign any ceasefire deals with the Soviet Union.
I do agree that the Soviets were the real enemy though.

What were the terms of the peace deal?

>what could hitler have done differently when he took power
handed power to the KPD and retired to rural bavaria

Hitler should have started a NAZI Banking system and offer better and lower rates than the Jewish banks.
He would have won the war without firing a shot.

So pull out of poland to?
What about the central banks trying to screw their economy? even before the war Germany was always tight on resources. Negotiate to have African colonies maybe?

So then what do?

Not start it.
/thread

No I'm talking about the fall of France.
After Hitler blitzed through France in just under 2 months and captured all of the country, Hitler made more progress in 2 months than the Germans did in 4 years in WW1.
I'm saying Hitler should have tried to make a peacedeal with Britain by saying "End the war, and France gets to be independent again, although we get back Alsace-Lorraine"

So if a civil war breaks out we should just retreat?

>you talking about how he decided to bomb London instead of military and industrial targets.

yea

1: Keep Italy out of the war
2: Now there's no failed invasion of greece in 1941
3: The invasion of Russia doesn't get delayed giving the germans an additional 4-6 weeks
4: Take Moscow
5: Stalion, who was bunkering down in Moscow much like Hitler did in Berlin would either be killed or captured
6: WIth Stalin dead, the Soviet capital captured and much of their infrastructure captured the USSR collapses
7: Profit

>Germany started it
Wrong, Britain started it. They offered a defense pact to Poland in secret. This happened right before the Germans invaded Poland over the fact they allowed the massacring of hundreds of ethnic Germans by Jewish Bolsheviks, on their land.

>The invasion of Russia doesn't get delayed
I think it had to be because of massive amounts of rain and they wouldn't of been able to move supplies

1. Complete the encirclement at Dunkirk.
2. Keep bombing the RAF instead of switching to bombing London since the RAF was a couple weeks from collapsing.
3. Keep Mussolini from being retarded and invading Greece. This would allow Barbarossa to commence on schedule which would result in Moscow being reached before winter hit.
4. Don't redirect to Stalingrad simply take the Caucasus oil fields both fueling the Wehrmacht and depriving the Soviets of most oil supply.
5. At this point all that can be hoped for is negotiated peace. At Kursk rather than attack directly where the Soviets fortified attack from wider pincer points where it is less fortified. This would possibly have resulted in the Soviets negotiating a seperate peace.

Most of all not allying with Italy would have been for the best.
>inb4 Pearl Harbor was a mistake
We were already at war with Germany it was just undeclared.

>war was inevitable
Nah Stalin just knew he would break it eventually. If he saw Hiter not making a move he would of attacked Japan instead. Hitler could of then cut his losses and had all of Western Europe. Africa would of been made worthless then as their main support was eliminated.

>UK didn't sign any ceasefire deals with the Soviet Union.
It doesn’t matter, the reason Britain supposedly entered the war against Germany is because of a defense pact with Poland. This pact would’ve included the Soviet Union.

Didnt he try to make peace though?

>Most of all not allying with Italy would have been for the best.

They did take Albania easily enough.

I don't know if he did. I don't think he ever offered to let France go, though, since he tried to incorporate the French empire as a German protectorate in his Vichy regime.

Literally what you outlined.

>Nah Stalin just knew he would break it eventually

You would think. I read like the first 1/3 of a book about this whole debacle as it regarded Stalin. It said Stalin locked himself in his room for like a week in shock that he got betrayed. Idk, wish I read the whole thing. Book title is "What Stalin Knew"

So hitler gets Ukraine for lebenshraum but the USSR doesn't collapse?

Source? I never heard of him letting France go, as I thought his intentions were to take the entire French empire; starting the Vichy government, giving control over the colonies to the Vichy, etc. etc.

No it was delayed because so many troops were sent to fight in Greece. Oddly enough the invasion of France was delayed because of bad weather.

>Make a peace deal with Britain by releasing France
This was offered many more times than once.
>and possibly even Poland to defend against the Communist horde
This was also offered.

What about Africa and the Mediterranean? couldn't he have gotten mad resources by locking that down?

Hitler would leave Western Europe as long as he was permitted to attack the USSR.

>rounding Jews into camps
fake... when it happens for real they will be killed on the spot and the body left as an example
>attacking Russia
he needed a way to kill off his own troops... nobody would do this in a real war

tl;dr - Hitler lost because it was a scam

Attached: 1559905282352.jpg (800x786, 200K)

demoted Goering and crafted a spy/saboteur network with the same ruthless efficacy put into their engineering and propaganda

Commit to a full-scale campaign against the Brits. Wait to invade Russia.

>of made

You mean after Kursk? Possibly I guess. At that point all kinds of things could have happened, maybe the Soviet Union would have had a civil war because of the failure who knows.
Rudolf Hess's plea among the other peace offers given to the British would have involved pulling out of Western Europe except Alsace and Lothringen.

Wait, I’m thinking of the Hess peace offering. I think Hitler offered the first peace treaty in Dunkirk, whilst he was advancing on the Allied Forces.
Either way, peace was given as an option to Britain multiple times. They were the warmongers, not Germany.

Nothing? Just make Germany based? As soon as Hitler started invading other countries, he was destined to lose.

A lot of stuff in the Mediterranean would have had to go perfectly and it would have helped if the Spanish kicked the British off Gibraltar. But the German devotion to North Africa was never enough to hold the place not to mention Italian incompetence and poor supply lines. It was more about controlling the Suez than resources though as far as I know.

Tell your Japanese allies to let sleeping giants lie.

American money and production capacity will bury you up to your neck in American made war machines

Attached: zzuOdkx[1].png (939x621, 299K)

America was already at war with Germany since we were spotting U-boats for Britain and our ships were told to fire on German ships. Plus we sent Pilots to the British. Point is FDR would have found a way it's just that the Japanese and Hitler made it easy.

Form the EU. Hilter would marvel at how Germany took over Europe without a shot.

He should have tricked Russia into going into Poland by themselves, then turned to the west and said "See? Communism is europes #1 enemy" Then sent his armies into Poland in "defense of the west".

America would not have fought a war there was absurdly low public support for. The Japanese bombing sent the public into full fuckforce revenge mode. Even if it were inevitable that they would eventually enter it would have delayed the Americans enough for nazis to establish euro dominance by crushing Britain and starving out the Soviets of precious American lend/lease.

The war was won by British ingenuity, Soviet Blood and American money and production capacity. Removing America from the table, even temporarily, buys Hitler the breathing room he needs to construct his own atomic weapon.

I think the Germans had pretty much reached a dead end on the atomic front, even the Japanese had a more developed program. Anyway though FDR probably would have done a false flag or something but it is possible that it's delayed enough that the trucks don't arrive in the Soviet Union quick enough and the counterattack doesn't happen that year. I need to go to sleep.

This is the only right answer. Hitler should've gone on a campaign to favor allies from the west to defeat communism and abstain from war at least from the time being. The 1936 olyimpics could've been used to show the world they're not the enemy.

Don't open a second front and deal with Russia

I want wind it back.
If Hitler hadn't of annexed Austria and Czech land, then invaded Poland they would have been alright.
Germany today would be a strong powerful nation, with healthy
happy Germanic people. He should of expatriated the Jews forcefully to some shit hole in Communist country or just prevented them from owning the media, banking, and public positions

Tell me how Germany would've conducted a single landing on the British Isles with no sea worthy landing craft, the British navy still intact and the Battle of Britain already lost.

He could have ACTUALLY gassed all the jews. That would be a good start.

Attached: gaskikes.png (900x516, 233K)

>Germany and Japan would've had an easy time with the US.
Didnt American troops get blown the fuck out alot?

Unironically this. But they would've killed him even earlier.

If Stalin was killed, or better yet captured, it would've thrown the whole SU into dissaray

None.
A two-front war meant doom for Germany from the start and war with Russia was inevitable.
He would have needed miracle after miracle to just come to equal terms with the allies and even then he'd be stuck in a cold war like aggression as the Nazi economy slowly falls apart.

How the fuck could Germany attack Japan? Please... Tell me

>Didnt American troops get blown the fuck out alot?
That's because American generals especially Patton are meathead retards who solve campaigns with brute force by just throwing bodies at a problem until it's resolved.

>It said Stalin locked himself in his room for like a week in shock that he got betrayed.
Some one liked Hitler a lil too much.

Two big mistakes Hitler made and what could've been done different.

March, 1939 - The Slovaks in Czechoslovakia declared their independence from Prague. Germany's response was to establish a protectorate over the rump of the Czech state. Before this, Hitler had only demanded territories with German populations. This led to the British and French giving guarantees to Poland. Instead , he should of respected Czech sovereignty and used Germany's economic strength to pull Czechia into Germany's orbit. This is want Goering advised to do. Hitler later admitted that was his single biggest mistake.

August 1939 - What many don't realize or understand is that WWII started all because of one thing: Danzig, which happened to be 97% German. What Hitler should have done instead of going to war with Poland over Danzig was to just occupy the free city and dare the Poles to do something about it. In that case, this was a small enough provocation that England and France probably wouldn't need to be involved.

Sounds American.

Someone's been watching too much (((Man in the High Castle))). Note: It's fiction.

Don't ally with Japan and work on Russian relations. The ussr will collapse anyways

>This led to the British and French giving guarantees to Poland.
Brits also had the 1921 agreement with Poles.
Agree with everything, good post - you know your history.
Don't forget Hitler also said in his speech to his generals the week before the invasion of Poland we need to kill every man, woman and child.
He really did fuck up.

In June 1941, the Soviet Union was weeks or perhaps only days away from launching their own attack. The German declaration of war on the Soviet Union makes that clear. Soviet moves in 1940, annexing Moldova and the Baltics make sense only if the Soviets wanted to move their borders closer to Germany.

Read the book "Icebreaker" by Viktor Suvurov.

I've seen that speech and it's a fabrication. It doesn't sound like Hitler at all if you look at actual speeches he made. It sounds like someone took one of the Kaiser's bombastic speeches and altered it to current events.

Also, how much sense does it make for Hitler to call his generals away from their preparations back to Berlin just so he can give them a 15 minute speech? Conclusion: That speech was fabricated either during or shortly after the war.

Attached: 16-point plan.png (1489x1423, 455K)

>fabrication.
Could be, it's been a while since, I've looked at it properly, I do recall it was used as evidence in Nuremberg though and there was multiple references and sources linked to it (possibly diaries if memory serves me well).

>Trying to spell Obersalzberg.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hitler's_Obersalzberg_Speech

didnt official soviet documents revealed in the 90s prove that russians didnt want to invade europe after all?

>What decisions could Hitler of made differently to win the war.
not fought the war?
A lot of it was out of his hands in so far as Churchill was determined to fight the war and try his best to get the US involved. Once the US was involved, he had no way of winning. Germany doesn't have the resources to act as a superpower. Maybe he could have tried to gain sympathy with Americans. Tried a charm offensive or been subversive like the communist Russians did, post WWII. He had a lot of sympathizers to Germany in America in the 30s that FDR actively fought to squash.

allying with italy. he could have killed stalin had citadel not been cancelled to bail mussolini out of jail

Not attack any country until his entire army was ready. Full mechanization. Wait until the tank units were filled with panzer 3's and 4's and not with panzer 1's and 2's. When attacking France don't give the command to hold back and let them push for the ocean, attacking the retreating British on the beaches.

hitler tried to sign a peace treaty with england multiple times. he should have never done that. the jew journalists in england lying about germans turning jew into soap is the reason the u.s. jumped into the war in the first place. if anything hitler should have conquered england and killed its jews from the beginning

moscow wasnt producing much compared to stalingrad

What on earth are you talking about?
