The incident was caught on both police body and dashboard cameras.

On the body camera footage Danaher can be heard speaking to a fellow officer explaining why he did not intervene sooner.

In response to Danaher’s shock over the public killing of the animal, Musaed is heard responding on the body camera recording saying, “We tried to do our best.”
