This program is broken. You don't understand just how much until you work at a grocery store. People can buy literally anything that is food. Candy, soda, etc. It's not just a few dollars either. It's hundreds.
Anyone on any side needs to look into this. If people want universal health care then this needs to stop. People are buying carts of soda and cakes and shit and being unhealthy which makes UHC harder. Parents are buying trash.

Ours have names but like we don't have to check ID. We can't accept photos of cards or written down numbers if the card doesn't swipe and the number is worn off. But that's nothing really. They don't even show the cards to us unless we have to type them in

My neighbor lady wanted to smash and she would ask if I needed milk or eggs whenever she went to pick up her WIC food. I'm all for providing poors and nigs fresh fruits and vegetables. It would be quite gratifying to just hand them a weekly allotment of apples, brocolli, green beans, kale, carrots, onions, and raw chicken.
