I believe gender dysphoria, like all dysphoria, is a real thing. But I feel that cross dressing for relief is bullshit. It doesn't change how they feel because the clothing restrictions are just a social construct. Putting on the female clothing does something else. Female clothing is designed to be attractive and provocative. They get satisfaction from this and falsely attributing it to feeling feminine. I suspect the majority of trans and cross dressing comes from being told they cant wear certain things. If clothing restrictions didn't exist, I suspect that we would see a lot less of this behavior.
