What is now the current federal penalty for treason? Note the wording at the end of the DOJ's own statement:
"Additional executions will be scheduled at a later date."
Interesting but two problems 1)Antifa/AFA/ARA is not the ACP/CPUSA nor are they a single soldified organization or party with registered membership. They are for all intents and purposes irl anons similar to early to mid 00's Anonymous. They are loosely affiliated city based ancom insurgent cells. This makes them harder to pin down than an actual subversive political party.
2) I'm pretty sure most BASED anti-communist legislation has been gutted and abrogated since the end of the Cold War and was rarely used even then due to potential cuckstitutional challenges. Ironically enough California still has an active ban on ACP/CPUSA membership for government jobs though that is obviously a m00t point considering who fills up the Dems.

As for 2, the federal death penalty was also rarely used until this morning. Things can change and between Barr bringing back the FDP and Cruz and Cassidy requesting domestic terror organization status for Antifa, together the two are a literal death sentence for treason.

How you know is when a Communist, or other enemy of the Republic of the United States, encounters real resistance to their organization they can tell will cause real pain to them and stop them, the first thing they do is denigrate the resistance. But they usually do it the way this user did, by "appealing" to the very foundations of American freedom and virtue they despise. In this case, "opinions and ideas can't be illegal in America, if you (America) are what you really say you are". In another famous case you all will recognize, "Some Christian you are. You won't even let these illegals in and Jesus said X."
The ruse here is obvious, because in case 1, Communism itself does not permit opinions and ideas. You are to believe whatever the Party tells you. In case 2, the accusing leftist himself despises Biblical principle and would love to see Christ removed from your nation and its future. The Ten Commandments being taken out of schools for one thing makes this intent obvious. But the enemy of the state sees no distinction between despising a thing and yet using that thing to try to manipulate you.
This is part of why they are the enemies of America.
