Try to find one that captures him getting into the truck if you can or at least walking towards it, then check if you can spot the same person inside the McDonald's around that time. Might be able to track his order if he paid by credit card or phone app etc.

Thats' good enough. Now find out the supplier/delivery company and demand records of who was the driver.
And get pictures of your vehicle's damage hopefully it has dark and white paint mismatch from the truck.
If its not from Mcdonalds ask around for deliveries made before 14:00 hours

One time my car got totaled off by a drunk bitch in a bar parking lot. A faithful Paki cab driver left a note on my windshield with a partial plate, the make and colour of the vehicle, and a description of the driver. I was sure as shit they would find the cunt, but I got a call probably three weeks later from the police. The guy told me it was impossible to search the database with a partial plate. This is in a province with a million people and way, way less private vehicles on the road. Absolutely pathetic.

First go to the police, file a report and bring that report to McDonals, goes way easier and faster like this.
I had exactly the same problem, at a Q8 tanking station. Even with all the witnesses, they wouldn't give me the tapes (without police). So save yourself some time and useless hassle and go to the police beforehand. Luckily I was able to work it out with the guy who hit me, police wasn't needed.
